Miley Ray Cyrus (born Destiny Hope Cyrus; November 23, 1992) in Nashville, Tennessee, is an American actress and singer-songwriter. She achieved wide fame for her role as Miley Stewart/Hannah Montana on the Disney Channel.
Miley born to Letitia Jean "Tish" (née Finley) and country singer Billy Ray Cyrus. Her parents gave her the nickname "Smiley", which was later shortened to "Miley", because she smiled so often as a baby.
